Frequently Asked Questions about DJ Service in Fort Wayne Indiana

Question: What type of equipment do I need to provide the dj for my upcoming event:  Answer: Normally the only thing we need provided is
a 6-8 ft skirted banquet table and enough room (between 10-12 ft to set up the equipment). Electricity needs to be a distance of 10-12 feet away from the DJ booth.

Question:  When do I need to fill out my planning forms and submit them to the dj.  Answer: We have an event coordinator that will meet with you prior to your event. She will then relay the information to the DJ. The DJ will call you one week to your event to make sure information is correct.

Question:  I do not see music on the music database that I want played. Can I bring my own cd's or add them some how? Answer: You
can bring additional music but it must be cd's, no tapes also, you can add songs you do not see on the music database sheet by clicking
the add music located in Online Planning Forms.

Question: When is final payment due and can I pay the balance before my event?  Answer: Payment is due on your event. This can be before or after the event.

Question: What type of music do you have and what do you play? Answer:  Each dj has the the Dj's Great Hits including popular hits from
all times and current hits that you hear on the radio today. Everyone is trained to be very selective on what they play and stay away from
anything that is offensive and degrading. We try to please all guests so playing hits from all eras is the main goal.

Question: What type of equipment do you provide. Answer: Unlike most "wanna be dj's" every dj has Professional Pro audio equipment
including: JBL Speakers (JRX 125 and JRX 112M), professional Behringer Amplifier, Dual Deck cd players, microphone, and the newest technology in Laptop Computers (which runs most of the music) mp3s/cds.

Question:  What type of music do you play during cocktail hr/dinner?   Answer: We have been complimented many times about our
selection of cocktail/dinner music. The music consists of  a little smooth jazz, Frank Sinatra, Nora Jones, Michael Buble, Nat King Cole,
Kenny G, etc. We keep our volume down for good conversation of the guests.

Question: How do I expect my DJ to be dressed? Answer: Each dj is required to wear attire that is suitable for your occasion. All djs are
required to wear shirt/tie/slacks to formal events.

Question: Will the Dj make certain announcements during the event? Answer: Yes! We will guide you and your guests through all
highlighted events of the evening. Again, it is so important that you fill out your event planner and specify any additional announcements to
be made.

Question:  Do I need to provide a meal for the dj? Answer: A meal is much appreciated but is not required.

Question:  If I book for a certain hour package will the dj stay later if we need him to?  Answer: If it is not contracted the dj has the right to
refuse overtime.
